Professor Romuald Tarczewski is a member of the Advisory Committee and former member of the Executive Council of the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS), as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Structural Engineers World Congress (SEWC). His research primarily focuses on the application of contemporary building structural design and construction systems, structural topology optimization, design of membrane structures and pneumatic structures, shell and spatial structures, as well as the structural reinforcement of historical buildings and heritage conservation.
