Professor Choong Kok Keong is an Emeritus Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has long been dedicated to research in fields such as earthquake engineering, nonlinear structural analysis, and the design of spatial structures. With profound academic expertise, he enjoys extensive international influence. His research has long focused on the stability and buckling behavior of geometrically nonlinear structures, particularly the form-found analysis and behavior simulation of tensile structures and space frames. He has proposed various calculation methods for bifurcation and stability, providing reliable design tools and theoretical support for the field of structural engineering.
